The Razorbill (Alca torda) is a medium-sized seabird in the auk family, easily recognized by its black back, white belly, and thick, black bill marked with a vertical white stripe. Around 150,000 pairs breed on rugged UK coastal cliffs during spring and summer before heading out to winter in the open Atlantic ocean.
