Behind the camera
I am an enthusiastic amateur who likes experiencing and photographing wildlife. Happily retired, my other hobbies include music (I sing in a couple of local choirs), and enjoy spending time with my family, our dogs, my MG sports car and classic Honda motorcycle.

Equipment
I use an assortment of, largely, second-hand equipment.
Unlike many photographers with budgets of £15k + to spend on equipment, I work on the basis that, if I take enough shots, some of them will be half decent! (As long as I have taken the lens cap off)
Consequently, my ratio of images taken vs images retained is probably a lot lower than someone with a lovely mirrorless setup!
I also try to do very little post editing. There may be a little cropping and slight contrast adjustment, but mainly they are straight from the camera.
I use:-
Nikon D7500 DSLR
Tamron 150-600 f5 - 6.3 Zoom lens (my main wildlife lens)
Nikon 18-105 f3.5 - 5.6
Nikon 55-300 f4.5 - 5.6
Manfrotto tripod
