Puffin
Puffins (Fratercula artcica) are unmistakable birds with large pale cheeks and their tall, flattened, brightly-coloured bill. Its comical appearance is heightened by its red and black eye-markings and bright orange legs.
Also referred to as "clowns of the sea" and "sea parrots" Puffins form long-term pair bonds or relationships. The female lays a single egg, and both parents incubate the egg and feed the chick.
After fledging, the chick (or puffling) spends the first few years of their lives at sea, returning to breed about five years later.
